Polyphony is in the pipeline for months now, we'd love to make it happen, however, we've had works that required higher priorities.
This particular feature requires a Piano Roll in the Sequencer, thus not that trivial to develop. But we'll be keeping an eye on this feature request often and will push it to the roadmap as soon as it can be.
