Ableton link sync falling apart on tempo-changed loops.

This has been driving me nuts. I've added a hardware drum machine to my setup, and it is absolutely essential to sync to Remixlive. The lack of midi clock has meant a challenge, but the workaround midi conversion app does the trick. We've noticed an intermittent problem, and mistakenly blamed this app for the drift, even buying another app to pace it, but the clock is actually solid in readings and was not the problem after all.
It generally works quite well. For several of the loops, though, this has not been happening, and we've discovered why: there's some sort of issue with the tempo when using a beat whose tempo is altered from the original in Remixlive.
It manifests as a "drift" of sync- starts out locked, then slowly falls out sync until it sounds like bloody hell.
Loops running at their native BPM are not affected; therefore, something about the tempo change on the loop itself is to blame.
Additionally, I'm getting crashes when I have too many midi connections at start-up. It seems to have a limit, and I do have a lot on a hub. but I'm not even using most of these devices with RML...these are things like midi keyboards and a hardware synth that's on the hub to use with an editor, the built in midi on my interface that I'm not using for anything right now. I really only need Launchpad to load in this appp...can I block the others?
Please fix this....and midi clock out would be bad either!
EDIT: I have realized that this probably can't be "fixed", conceptually, because changing the BPM with time-stretching, by definition, means that the beat isn't hitting in the right place. So, while it is irritating, there's not really any "bug"...it simply isn't going to be possible to address it, because the "poor sync" is due to the time-stretching, when I look closely at the loop this can be seen.. I'm now running all such beats with their native BPM setting. Please close this topic.

Te mantendremos informado y agradecemos mucho tu paciencia.
Best,
Todd Bryant
I use RemixLive (MacBook Pro M2) with a Denon Prime 4+ on Ableton Link and it's flawless.

Todd Bryant Yeah, I figured out what the problem is. If you change the loop sample BPM inside the sample edit window, it time-stretches the sample....meaning that the hits won't sync with external hardware, even though they are running at the same BPM. Not really a bug, just a consequence of time-stretching.

Amana I really do appreciate the follow up. It makes for a great community. Thank you!

As for the multiple devices, I have used up to three without issues BUT I know there are many cheap android devices that have troubles with it because they can't give enough power to all those USB devices at once. I would think iOS is more consistent in this (given there are less devices/form factors available overall). So I think that part boils down to hardware performance. Yes RL "sees" all the devices connected to the system (including 'virtual' ones from other apps... which on Android is pointless given they can't run at the same time because RL doesn't support split screen mode - see the other thread on MIDI clock - but they are not necessarily all "enabled" for use in the app. I ended up uninstalling a few other apps not to see all those virtual ones.

They should just implement MIDI clock... https://remixlive.canny.io/feedback/p/sending-midi-clock
