latest ipadOS, latest ipad air 11, focusrite i2i2, the app resets the audio interface 6 times or so while showing the loading screen, and gets stalled there. I only can use the sound device if I start the app without it connected and I connect afterwards.

sorry louis, but its ios, not macos, also sample rate is 44khz, it happened with motu m6 as well, maybe also related a launchpad pro mk3 connected at the same time.

Your issue is likely a sample rate compatibility issue. Right now, it is best to run Remixlive at 44.1kHz or 48kHz. We are aware of an issue in Remixlive when attempting higher sample rates and we will be working on a solution. But we can't yet make promises on when it will be done.
To change you sound card sample rate on macOS: open the 'Audio MIDI Setup' system app, select your card on the left to show the drop down of possible sample rates.
